Blowing Down The Cwm

...

I went to see a farm today

in Wales, Trecastle way.

The farmer I saw

was not panning for gold,

or drilling for oil.

'I'm a Hillbilly' he called to me.

Then I thought all he wanted

was the stream in the valley,

and the wind in the cwm.

I'm not surprised

by what I saw.

This hillbilly,

not leaving his door.

I could see it in his eyes,

he's got his paradise

and as I step outside,

I see,

it's blowing down the Cwm.
